About Burials

Remembrance Parks Central Victoria

All of us will experience loss. For many, having a place to visit and mourn or remember those we have lost is an important part of reckoning with our grief.

Burial offers a traditional and lasting legacy for your loved one. We provide a range of burial options across our locations that accommodate cultural and personal beliefs. Choose from traditional lawn graves, or more decorative monumental graves.

Burial Options

Lawn Plaque Grave

These graves combine simplicity and elegance and are marked by a bronze plaque, which sits flat or slightly elevated at the head of the grave. This memorial is an understated, dignified choice, offering a timeless design that allows personalisation. Set in neat rows over carefully manicured lawns, they create a peaceful environment that invites reflection and contemplation.

These graves usually accommodate up to three burials and up to four sets of ashes. Following the burial, the bronze plaque can be designed with and organised through our customer service consultants. Bronze plaques can also be arranged through alternative suppliers.

Lawn Headstone Grave

These traditional graves are marked by an inscribed upright stone at the head of the grave, typically made of granite. This memorial is a thoughtful choice, offering a classic design that allows personalisation. Set in neat rows over carefully manicured lawns, they create a peaceful environment that invites reflection and contemplation.

These graves usually accommodate up to three burials and up to four sets of ashes. Following the burial, a headstone can be chosen and organised through our customer service consultants or through a Monumental Stonemason.

Monumental Grave

These graves offer the opportunity for families to have a Monumental Stonemason establish a custom, handcrafted memorial that covers the entire grave.

These graves usually accommodate up to three burials and up to four sets of ashes. Following the burial, a monument or additional inscription is organised through a Monumental Stonemason.

Concrete-Lined Monumental Vault Grave

These precast concrete burial vaults are installed below ground level and sealed with concrete lids. These vaults allow for the installation of an elaborate full-sized monument to be arranged through a Monumental Stonemason.

These graves usually accommodate up to two burials and up to four sets of ashes.
